Outpatient Mental Health Services

You can obtain mental health, behavioral health and substance use disorder services from any in-network provider.

  • No referral is necessary. Members can self-refer in network.
  • You can find an in-network Denver Health Medical Plan provider on the DHMP Provider Directory.
  • You can find an in-network First Health provider on the First Health Network Directory. See Find a First Health Provider for search tips.

    Note: for the Denver Health Plan HMO and Elevate Health Plans Exchange/CO Option, First Health providers in Colorado are in network for outpatient services only.

Inpatient Mental Health Services

  • Inpatient mental health, behavioral health and substance use disorder services provided by an in-network provider or contracted facility are covered.
