Ingredients
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1⁄2 cup green pepper, chopped
1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup rice (uncooked)
One 15.5-ounce can chopped tomatoes, undrained
2 cups water
Instructions
- Brown green pepper and onion in oil until tender.
- Stir in the spices, rice, tomatoes and water. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until rice is done.
