COVID-19 Testing
Reduce the Spread of COVID-19
Being tested for COVID-19 before contact with others will reduce the chance of spreading the virus and save lives. Awareness of a positive test result allows individuals to isolate themselves for a period of time, reducing the chance that they will infect those they love and everyone around them. It may also allow you to seek treatment earlier. If you have been in contact with others who are infected, whether or not you have symptoms, you should get tested.
Free COVID-19 Tests
The federal government has free COVID-19 tests available for households who request them. As of September 25, 2023, households can order free tests through COVIDtests.gov.
Additional COVID Test Options for These Plans
- Elevate Medicare Advantage Members
Elevate Medicare Advantage members can continue to receive COVID-19 PCR and antigen tests with no cost-sharing when the test is ordered by a physician or certain other health care providers, such as physician assistants and certain registered nurses, and performed by a laboratory. - Elevate Medicaid Choice and CHP+ Members
